A Cute Story

I was down in the mass spectrometry center the other day, just setting up samples and making sure things were running smoothly. This is not the most mentally taxing task. It involves checking something approximately every eight minutes. So to entertain myself (because you know, eights minutes can feel like an eternity), I was reading this:


I totally love reading this magazine. I think it's because it's so scientific and exacting, but at the same time pretty funny too. Anyways, as I was reading about how to bake chicken breasts, my friend John comes up behind and says, "Not that I am reading over your shoulder or anything, but I LOVE that magazine! It's my guilty pleasure." To fully get the picture here, John is a good-looking blonde-haired, blue-eyed, athletic and fit guy. Who apparently likes to cook too! I love it when you discover unknown similarities between your friends. What a happy moment. =)
